This exercise deals with finding the Ground Sample Distance (GSD), or ‘spatial resolution’ for a given sensor with a given set of operational parameters.
You will need to research the specifications of the Sony A6300 camera’s imaging sensor to arrive at a solution.
A. Using both the Pix4D and DroneMapper tools (links attached) tell me at what altitude above ground level (AGL) you will need to fly to collect imagery with 1.5cm GSD given a lens focal length of 18.8777 mm.
B. At that altitude, what is the maximum speed you can fly using 1/1000 shutter speed and still avoid image blur (per the DroneMapper tool)?
